Shredder blades and twin-shaft cutter sets
The cutter system directly affects material gripping, cutting efficiency, output condition and maintenance intervals. Plastics, tires, wood, metals, municipal waste and industrial waste each require a coordinated choice of steel grade, tooth profile, thickness, heat treatment and running clearance.
Steel grade and heat treatment
Cutter steel is selected for the feedstock's hardness, toughness, contaminants and impact load. Heat treatment is matched to the cutter geometry to balance edge hardness with overall impact resistance.
Wear resistance and operating conditions
Wear life depends on more than hardness. Edge angle, tooth profile, blade thickness, running clearance and feed stability must be matched to actual operating conditions.
Manufactured to drawing or sample
The outer diameter, inner hole, thickness, number of teeth, keyway and installation direction can be checked based on existing drawings, actual old knives or clear measurement data to adapt to dual-shaft shredders and related crushing equipment.
Recommended information for a cutter quotation
- Equipment brand, model and tool box structure
- Photos, drawings or physical samples of old knives
- Outer diameter, inner bore, thickness, number of teeth and keyway dimensions
- Handle materials, unit size and inclusions
- Material or hardness requirements, purchase quantity and installation direction
If the information is incomplete, you can first send photos of the front and back, side and inner hole details of the old part, and we will sort out the parameters that need to be confirmed later.
